Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 networking (VLANSTPVRRP/HSRPBGPOSPF). • Hands-on expertise with at least one major firewall platform. • Experience in firewall migration and policy design. • Familiarity with VPN technologiesNATIPS/IDSand security best practices. • Experience with network monitoring tools (PRTGSolarWindsSplunketc.). • Good understanding of ITIL processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot L2/L3 networks (switching, routing, VLANs, routing protocols).
• Configure, operate, and maintain enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto / Fortinet / Cisco / Check Point / Juniper).
• Perform firewall rule creation, optimization, cleanup, and OS upgrades.
• Lead firewall migration projects: policy translation, configuration, and cutover.
• Troubleshoot routing, connectivity issues, latency, and security policy conflicts.
• Support data center operations, high availability setups, and network monitoring.
• Participate in incident management, RCA, change management (ITIL), and documentation.

Qualifications

Education
UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science and Business System, Information Technology, Electronics And Computer Engineering, Computers

Technical Qualification:
 CCNA / CCNP (R&S or Security)
• PCNSE / NSE47 / CCSA / CCSE / JNCIS-Sec
• ITIL Foundation
• Cloud networking exposure (AWS / Azure / GCP) added advantage
